Services provided by ISPC

ISPC can provide a range of services, that can be broken down into three broad areas:

Development Programmes - there are many models describing the process of Product or Service Development, each with its own stage definitions and naming conventions. The following are not intended to be definitive, and we can adapt to your process in a development or programme management role.

Concept Definition - turning the 'blue sky' idea into something tangible.

Proof of Concept - including Technology and Technical trials. These have previously been supported using online feedback forums where the participants and development teams are able to exchange views

Validation and RFQ - will the idea fly and more importantly will it make money? In some cases setting up Request for Quotation activities involving external suppliers.

Product or Service Definition - this is the point at which the ideas begin to become concrete. There are many techniques to ensure a common understanding such as Moments of Truth, Product Vision, Business Requirements and Use Cases

Validation and Readiness Testing - having defined what was expected, is that what has been delivered, and does it work.

Service Launches - bringing the proposition to the real world.

In Life Product and Service Management - once the product is launched, ensuring that it remains stable and viable during its lifecycle. Looking at how its performance and profitability can be improved through business change or further development..

At this point Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) can be as important, if not more important than Unit Price, but can also be difficult to determine.

Manufacturer Support - Manufacturers, and suppliers of services such as content or IT components, are typically not able to take a broad view of an "end to end" service, and may lose opportunities to play a more proactive strategic role in the Customer's business.

As an example, ISPC is working with a leading electronics manufacturer to define an equipment roadmap that matches increasing technological capability and complexity, to the needs of Internet Service Providers facing decreasing margins, in a cost competitive market.
